Donald J. Trump prepares to take office as 45th President of the United States

Donald J Trump has capped the day of his inauguration with dancing and celebrating, hours after being sworn in as the 45th President of America with a vow to rebuild the country using "American hands".

Hewing closely to the fiery rhetoric that defined his campaign, Donald Trump during his inaugural address painted a bleak picture of life for some in the United States, promising to end what he called the "American carnage," turn the Washington establishment on its head, give voice to the "forgotten" and work tirelessly to put "America first."

He said he would strip power away from Washington and give it "back to thepeople".
"We must think big and dream even bigger," he said. "America will start winning again, winning like never before.



"We will bring back our jobs, we will bring back our borders, we will bring back our wealth and we will bring back our dreams.


Trump put his signature on three presidential documents, including a proclamation calling for a new National Day of Patriotism and formal nominations for his Cabinet and administration picks, just after he was officially inaugurated, his spokesman Sean Spicer said He also signed into law a measure that allows retired Marine Gen. JamesMattis to come closer to becoming the new Defense Secretary and suspended a housing order that would have benefited people buying new homes, NBC Washington reports.
